Martha.

I'm like martha up in this bitch.  I can say that because my 2 year old is asleep and my not yet born monsterfaced child (please see image below) has yet to be born.  Though babycenter tells me he hears me and pee's inside of me.  Good tips.  Thanks BC.

Anyway, I had seen this little lovely item on etsy.  If I had a girl.  I would have it.  With the yellow.  Probs not the pink.  Who knows though.

I think it's precious.

I also had some left over canvases from making Meyer's name sign (PS.  also, still a boy as visible via his nuts today.)

I made it to hobby lobby.  bought some fabric.  and made some etsy inspired decorations for our bathroom.  Because, I mean... after almost 6 years of living here I've decided to decorate.

step 1.  Have husband staple gun fabric onto canvas.
step 2.  Cut strips of fabric and fold in halfsies.
step 3.  Run a needle and thread through the fabric and gather it.
step 4.  Hot glue pieces in place (fabric glue wasn't work.)
step 5.  Cuss because you burn yourself 245x.
step 6.  Do it again only make the second ring bigger.
step 7.  Repeat step 5.
step 8.  Go through craft drawer and find random pearl beads and add them.
step 9.  Repeat step 5.
step 10.  suck it etsy.  (kidding.  I still love you. Locavore for life.  Support local businesses and things.)

Now... monster baby.  they ASSURED ME that he is not hideous and his eyes don't look like that and he is probably just smushed into my placenta.  Tbd, friends.  tbd.

I should share one of our ultrasound pictures with you. I sent it to family, and then Papa declared he was going to start calling the baby "Lippy" because of his beak-like ginormous upper lip/jaw. I told Papa not to be surprised by violence from a pregnant/newly post-partum daughter should he follow through with that threat, but really... he had a point.

I think they're both going to be beautiful :)

I did not have the 4D ultrasound with either kid, and well, I'm kind of glad. Newborns are already not the very cutest people in the world (let's be honest), but they're so squishy and smell so good you don't notice. You don't get those mitigating factors with the ultrasound, so you just notice the not-quite-as-cute-as-I'd-hoped-for-ness. The good news: before you even realize how many sleepless nights you've endured, the little people suddenly ARE the cutest people you've ever seen. Especially yours. Very cute.

He is incredibly cute, as are your fancy pants wall hangings. Wanna meet up for a craft night?

craft night for sure! And lets plan 2 while we are at it... one that is sadly sans solo cup and one that is full of vino.

Thanks friends. Elizabeth, our technician said she refused to do the 3d ones forever because she found them creepy.

Jeannie, his room... looks just like G's old room only with a different name. I should take pics anyway?

Cate, le sigh... lets hope #2 are as cute as #1's :) I like Lippy. We have Monsterface. They can be best friends forever.
