An all important question...

posed by Ben.

"How do people who don't follow the Christian liturgical calendar know when it's acceptable to wear white and searsucker?"

Amazing question that I do not have an answer for. He asked this after I got excited about getting my white pants hemmed. Nothing says spring like a pair of white pants.

And this, my friends, is why we have true love.

My non-religious sister-in-law from the Midwest was scandalized that I would wear white shoes before Memorial Day. That's what she used instead of Easter. I informed her that we were in the South and here we celebrate Jesus' resurrection with a dressy pair of white sandals with our Easter dresses, thank you very much.

Ah. It all becomes clear, now. I suggested Memorial day, but that leaves so little time before labor day to get all of the white and searsucker in.
